BCN Printers usage in Germany regarding humidity
In the safety guide is written:
"Use the BCN3D Sigma D25 in an environment from 15 to 30ºC and relative humidity below 50% to avoid printing issues or damage to the electronics of the printer."
In Germany there is humidity:
"70 percent humidity in summer and 85 percent in winter is typical for the weather in Germany." translated from https://www.heidelberg24.de/region/wetter-luftfeuchtigkeit-regenwahrscheinlichkeit-gesundheit-experte-dwd-schimmel-90005246.html
Could your printers be used in Germany then?
Yes, you can use the printer in Germany, normally you will have the printer installed in a close environment (like an office). The recommendation of temperature and humidity is to keep the life span of the filaments and protect the electronics.
Our customers in Germany are using the printer without problems related to the environment humidity
Ok, but the below 50% humidity value was lil confusing to me.
@rango Less humidity better it is for your printer and your filaments. Shure its better to have a controlled environment with low variation on humidity and temperature. I recommend to use dehumidifier to keep it less than 50%.
