Does anyone know how to make supports easy to remove?
I want to build them with the same material as the model
Hi
Had the same issues, because of duplication you have to print with the same filament for support, which is difficult!!!!
Having printed about a dozen test pieces, the addition of a "roof" on the supports that doesn't touch the main body seems to be the answer.
this is what worked for me :
In SUPPORT open up the extra Setting Visibility and add;
Support top distance - 0.175mm
infill every - 2 layers
Enable Support Interface -
support Thickness - 0.1mm
Support Density - 65%
Pattern - Lines (use lines here but use ZigZag on your main shell, this leaves a contrasting finish)
un-related but probably needed, the overhang will probably have a poor finish this can be greatly improved by reducing top/bottom speed to 10-15%
Hi!!! thanks a lot ❤️, I've tried these settings with a small model, and is easier to remove the supports. I will try to print a bigger model and share my results.
Thank you very much for the tip. I am also off to practice.
Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks a lot. I searched many sites for this and read many articles about 3d printers, but only you could help.
