    Hi,

I have a Sigma for a couple of months now, unfortunatelly it hasn’t run properly yet.
My prints start ok, but after some time the filament stops, then I hear a noise (clong πŸ˜‰ and it starts running again. This happens several times during a print of 1 hour, leaving me with a bad print.
I am currently printing with colorfabb Ngen at a temperture of 230 (advised temperture between 220-230).

Has any of you encountered the same problem?

    Hope to hear from you.

    Guido

Maybe it’s heat creep in the hotend. A thread exists on this forum on how to resolve it.

This thread would be nice to know. I could not find it. πŸ™
Since I had the same problem, but it was resolved by the BCN3D support. But for future issues … πŸ˜‰

So is it just that the nozzles didn’t get the temperature due to the lack of thermal grease?

    Hi,
i believe it is this one:
    http://www.bcn3d.com/es/forums/topic/bcn3d-sigma-e3dv6-hotend-adapter-next/
Thanks, i believe that is the problem. I left Ngen and went for the bcn standard.
    Regards,
    Guido
