Our makerspace meeting went well today, three new members, one of whom is enjoying exploring the art of casting. He’d really like to be able to use wax 3d printed models as his source material. I’ve found http://www.machinablewax.com/product.php?product=52 with 3mm filament, but the flexibility of the filament has me concerned. I’ve also located a YouTube video where the delta printer owner said he’s had success, despite having to feed through a bowden tube.

I’ve read here that some flexible filaments work well with the Sigma, while others perform poorly. How does one determine the possibility of success, in general and of course, specifically in this case?

Has anyone printed with any flexibles who can provide some insight?

    thanks
