Technical Service & Support – US
BCN3D Technologies, a 3D printer manufacturer based in Gavà (Barcelona), is looking for a Technical Service & Support to join our team and help us grow in the US market.

At BCN3D we design, manufacture and sell all over the world top-quality desktop-sized FFF 3D printers. We offer our customers a complete solution to their needs thanks to our products, which are world-renowned for their versatility and reliable performance.
In addition, BCN3D is driven by a pure Open Source working methodology, aimed to make the 3D printing technology accessible to the society, becoming an active player in its technological development.
SUMMARY
We are a company that has had rapid growth in EMEA and now focusing our attention on building a US-based team to dramatically increase sales, raise brand awareness, and improve our service and support offerings. This is a growth opportunity for someone who has a desire to be a technical “jack of all trades.” You will be the face of technical services to our partners and customers in the US, as well as be a bridge to our engineering and support team in Spain. Thus adaptability, accountability, and problem solving are key attributes needed for this position to help us achieve our goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with our US channel sales manager in the Northeast to offer technical support for our resellers and end-users relating to our FFF 3D printer line.
- Troubleshooting, reporting, and management of 3D printer service tickets from partners and users.
- Direct maintenance and repair of our 3D printers that return for service or recertification as needs evolve.
- Work with our Barcelona-based engineering team to ensure customer service projects’ needs are met.
- Provide an additional layer of pre-sales applications engineering, detailed product education, and part benchmarking when needed.
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Aiding partners with onsite or remote training on operation, technical presentations, and demonstrating how a product meets client needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A solid Technical or Engineering background
- Related degree or master’s student
- Fluent English, both written and spoken (Spanish is a plus)
- Excellent Verbal and Communication skills
- Sound judgment and good business sense
- Team Player and flexible
- The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-reliance and personal management skills
